Shameless Hypocrisy

Which picture effects you the most?

The pope

Aids Patient

So tell me then, why is it that when a man dies who has been able to live his life by the way of his belief without fear of persecution, surrounded by magnificant wealth and people at his beck and call, we go out into the street in millions to mourn his death and yet we don“t for the less fortunate that are dying every single second.
Did you know that every three seconds an african dies from aids?
Did you know that every minute a person is shot in Amerika?
What about tortue, rape, spouse abuse, child abuse? They are all happening to some poor soul every single second.

Comments:
Dear Lindsay,

you have hit the right spot with these questions. I ask myself this almost every day, while living my superficial life...I often feel so sad for the hurting people on the other side of the world, and I do not know what to do. Yes, ofcourse I could go to the third world and help them build schools and get medicine. But I have my own life which I feel I still have not completed yet also. So I am a member of a lot of organisations, I donate money, I am a vegetarian and I do charity work. Sometimes to feel better about myself (hypocrite?)but most of all to feel that my little bit of help and money can give someone one day of no hunger or pain. I personally could not care less about the new pope. Conservative Old Man, that is all what I see.

I like to read more from you, I hope you are happy and healthy!

Sorry if I make some mistakes in my english writing, I quit studying and work in a bar. This is not good for someones brain ;o)

love Hannah!
